About Us

Owner / Manager - Anastasia Sinkovskaia 

(RMT, R.Ac., B.Sc. Eng.(Hon.)) Anastasia is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA), the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO), College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA).

Anastasia received her education in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto. She is proud to be one of three Canadians selected to complete advanced training in diagnosis, assessment and treatment of sports injuries and pain in the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program in Boulder Colorado under the instruction of Whitfield Reaves, OMD, L.Ac. Anastasia also has specialty training in sport massage, medical taping, Tui-na for sports injuriries, Japanese acupuncture (Kiiko Matsumoto style training under Tak Tsarusaki) as well as Mei-Zen cosmetic acupuncture for facial rejuvenation. She is passionate about using Mei-Zen and Japanese acupuncture together to help women use their body's innate ability to build collagen and to maintain and improve skin conditions including facial tone, wrinkles and a healthy glow with long lasting results.

Anastasia received her massage therapy education from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in Toronto. She is an experienced therapist devoted to providing exceptional care by designing an effective customized massage treatment plan to address your individual needs, whether it is a sport specific injury, stress of an office job, pregnancy or just a  long needed relaxation. 

In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist and a registered massage therapist, Anastasia is a yoga teacher and uses her knowledge of yoga practice to assist and empower clients to attend to the needs of their bodies and minds through focused movement, breath and meditation.


Amrit Singh, R.Ac (Registered Acupuncturist)
Amrit Singh has been studying and practicing acupuncture for over nine years. She is passionate about the field and is always working to increase her skill set and contribute world-class, patient-specific care.  She began her journey by completing her Diploma of Acupuncture at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto, after which she extended her studies in Beijing, Tokyo, San Francisco and New York. 
Locally she alsostudied and apprenticed with Takamasa Tsurusaki R.Ac, an internationally recognized Acupuncturist & Educator of the Kiiko Matsumoto style. Through this apprenticeship, Amrit honed her abilities in a style of Acupuncture is known for its precise diagnosis, gentle needling techniques and effective method of treatment blending western medical principles with eastern ideologies for quick results. 


Recently, she has also received her certification in Sports Acupuncture with Whitfield Reaves.  This knowledge has allowed her to practice precise muskulo-skeletal diagnosis and orthopedic muscle testing inthe clinic and on-site at sporting events.  Through this work, Amrit has widened her knowledge base on treating pain and has helped many people surpass their competition goals and increase recovery from injuries and accidents of all kinds.


Amrit also practices Acupuncture to help patients with other issues, including digestive problems, allergies, stress, fertility &gynecological concerns andalso specializes in acupuncture during pregnancy, postpartum care, and labour.  In addition, Amrit has trained specifically in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, which takes a unique approach to focus on balancing the internal body with a lifting facial protocol to create optimal, long-lasting results.


She enjoys working with her patients on all levels, from making lifestyle and nutritional recommendations to answering her patient’s questions during treatments. “I want my patients to feel comfortable and have an understanding of what is occurring with their body and why. I truly believe this is an important step towards better health.”


Amrit is a fully insured, Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) and is certified in Clean Needle Technique. She is also a faculty member of Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine where she teaches practice management and acupuncture theory to current students and sits on the board of the newly developed TCMO (Traditional Chinese Medicine of Ontario).


Nada Ashkar, BHum., R.Ac. is a Registered Acupuncturist, classically trained Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and Qigong instructor and a meditation facilitator. She holds a combined Honours degree in Humanities and Philosophy from Carleton University through The College of Humanities. Nada is continuing to deepen in her knowledge and scope of practice through the study of Chinese herbal medicine and advanced TCM training. She has trained in various martial arts since she was 10 years old, achieving her 1st degree black belt in Karate at 15 and is a senior student at Spiritwind Internal Arts with whom she has been training for the past 10 years. Deeply passionate about supporting her patients in realizing their optimal state of health, her approach is informed by her own healing journey, through her gifts as a teacher, and her reverence for the traditional medicine arts. Nada elegantly combines Acupuncture, Nutrition, Meditation, Cupping, Qigong, Tuina massage with Life-style counselling and more to create a individualized, balancing and transformative experience for her patients.
